Our Diet plays an important role in forming Acne. Acne formation takes place when the oil and dead skin cells blocks the skin’s pores. The acid forming foods must be avoided, as they also cause the formation of acne. Many a times, in cases of acne, there is a building of yeast in the body, so it is truly important to not eat the foods that such as sugary foods and yeast products such as beer, bread and mushrooms. Acne starts forming a part of female body for a long period and males are also very likely to suffer from acne. Some males can suffer for a long duration than in females.
Some herbs are known to have anti-inflammatory properties and, for that reason, they may be helpful in the treatment of acne (as well as other skin conditions). You may have already heard of these: Calendula, German chamomile, Witch hazel, Licorice root, Flaxseed and flaxseed oil. |
Natural Herbal Remedies----
1. Strawberries or Strawberry Leaves are used or recommended as an herbal remedy for acne. A wetted strawberry leaves are used for a glowing complexion. Some roots are useful in treating acne; psorias and eczema are Dandelion, for facial mask Banana Chamomile Soother and Zinc Supplements
2. Herbal Tea Acne Formula: - 2 parts Red Clover, 2 parts Dandelion Root,1 part Echinacea root,1 part Alfalfa leaf and 1/2 part Capsicum Capsules and tea bags are prepared and place inside with dried herbs.
3. Tea Tree oil has been favorably compared to benzoyl peroxide in the reduction of Acnes and is said to have fewer side effects (stinging, itchiness and dry skin).
4. Wash fresh methi leaves (fenu greek leaves) and grind it to make a paste. Apply it on face and wash it off with lukewarm water after 10 minutes.
5. Apply a face pack of ripe tomato pulp and wash it off as soon as it dries naturally (preferably after 45 minutes) .
6. Neem has been used as a tonic and astringent that heartens wound healing. It is widely used for external applications in skin related problems. Neem or Azadirachta Indica extracts have wonderful effects like anti-diabetic, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties.
7. You should maintain your healthy diet by avoiding oily and spicy foods. Green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits are beneficial for your healthy diet.and it indirectly helps to prevent acne.
8. Lastly keep your mind free of tensions. Tension can release many hormones, which gives rise to acne.
