Types of vitamins Vitamins are the group of organic carbon containing substances that are present in food in small quantities. They are necessary for the growth and development of the body. If the body is not provided with required quantity of vitamin it may cause vitamin deficiency. As Prevention is better than cure, it's better to intake proper vitamins in right time to check the problem from growing more horrible. First of all vitamin is that component of a balanced diet which the human body generally cannot manufacture on its own. • Vitamin B2 and Folic Acid: help in the formation of red blood cells.
• Vitamin C: it helps in strengthening your gums and muscles. Vitamin C found in citrus fruits like oranges, also helps in healing wounds. It enables you to overcome infections. Foods rich in vitamin C, apart from citrus fruits are: tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage and strawberries etc.
